He connects conversational design with the world's biggest store. In March 2023 he joined Amazon's new generative-AI team as its first designer, before the product had a name. He led the core conversational components, interaction mechanics and product Q&A for what launched in February 2024 as Rufus, Amazon's AI shopping assistant, which reached all US customers that summer. He has since moved to Pinterest as a Senior Product Designer. Before Rufus could talk, he drew the conversation.
