Post-training researcher behind ChatGPT voice and Intelligent UI.
Why chosen
She connects self-driving perception and tech policy with models that know when to show, not tell. After a master's in computer science at Stanford, she worked on perception for autonomous vehicles and was a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, researching secure 5G. At OpenAI she joined the ChatGPT team as a post-training researcher, and in March 2025 announced the Advanced Voice Mode update that stopped ChatGPT interrupting people mid-thought. In October 2026 she helped shape the research behind Intelligent UI, teaching GPT-6 when an interactive interface beats plain text. First it learned to pause; now it learns to draw.
